The Lapham-Marquette Wisconsin Homegrown Holiday Fundraiser:

Give the Gift of Local Food

Wisconsin Homegrown Holiday Order Form [PDF]

Product Descriptions [PDF]

The holiday season will descend upon us soon. By participating in the Lapham-Marquette Wisconsin Homegrown Holiday Fundraiser, you can get your shopping over with early (and almost effortlessly), support local farms and businesses, and help our school.

Are you wondering what gifts to get for your friends, relatives and coworkers this year? How about aged Cheddar from Mineral Point, maple syrup from Cazenovia, dried fruit from Door County, soap milled in Brodhead, or dark chocolate crafted right here in Madison? All of these artisan foods and farm products, and many more, are available through the Wisconsin Homegrown Holiday Fundraiser.

This is a fundraiser you can feel good about. Here’s why:

  • On average, 40% of the cost of each product sold through this fundraiser will go to the Lapham-Marquette PTG.
  • Funds are used to support student scholarships, the Artist-in-Residence program, teacher allocation funds, art and classroom supplies, field trips, farm-to-school activities, and other student activities.
  • The rest of the money goes directly to local family farms and small businesses. This is a great way to keep your holiday spending in the local community.
  • The healthy, natural products offered through this fundraiser are grown or produced in ways that protect our natural resources, minimize (or eliminate) the use of pesticides, treat animals humanely, and create jobs in our community.

Your child (or children) should have brought an order form home on October 24. If you need another copy, you can pick one up in the office or download it by going to www.lapham-marquette-ptg.org.

Order forms and payment are due by Thursday, November 8.  Please return your order and check (made out to Lapham/Marquette PTG) to the PTG box in either school office. Orders will be available for pickup at the school the week of December 3. We will notify you of the exact day, time and place.

If you have any questions about this fundraiser or would like to help, contact Doug Wubben at 443-0647 or dwubben@wisc.edu.

Thank you for supporting the Lapham-Marquette PTG, as well as local farms and businesses, through the Wisconsin Homegrown Holiday Fundraiser!
