Lapham & Marquette Schools
Endowment Fund
2007-2008
To Staff, Students and Parents of Lapham and Marquette Schools,
We are excited to offer
our second annual Endowment Fund grants.
It is from the hard work and generosity of the Lapham/Marquette
community and the Foundation for Madison’s Public Schools that we are able to
offer these grants.
We encourage everyone to
submit or help develop a grant request.
The grant request form is a simple two page application, so the hardest
part is deciding which idea to submit.
We’ve anticipated questions that you may have about the grant process
and have listed them below.
Good luck,
L/M Endowment Steering
Committee
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. What
is the Lapham/Marquette Endowment Fund?
A.

initiated the Endowment fund idea in the 2003/2004 school year. The L/M
community has raised money and placed $33,529 as of September 2007 in our
endowment with the Foundation for Madison’s Public Schools. The endowment fund is managed by the
FMPS. The L/M Endowment Steering

in-turn distributed as grants.
